GIS Certification Institute Launches New Official Study Guide Following Website Refresh

[Des Plaines, IL, June 24, 2024] - Elevating its commitment to advancing GIS professionals worldwide, the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI) unveiled its redesigned website, along with a comprehensive GISP study guide and preliminary details about the forthcoming PreGISP program.

The newly added official study guide, available as a downloadable PDF or accessible via ten topical webpages that align with the GISP’s key Knowledge Categories.

This resource, tailored for the Geospatial Core Technical Exam, ensures that crucial information is readily available to users and serve as a launch pad for users to chart their own learning pathway for the GISP Exam using the terms and concepts illustrated.

In addition to the study guide, the website offers streamlined applications for the Endorsing Employer program and provides preliminary insights into the upcoming PreGISP program. Designed as a pathway for graduates transitioning to professional practice, the PreGISP program will officially launch in 2025, offering emerging professionals a structured route to success in the GIS industry.
